The Young Makers

After School Classes

In a Project based learning (PBL method), kids explore and develop a variety of skills using different tools and technologies. We go through concepts of Product Design thinking, that reflect on real life working methods.

Each child works in his own pace on individual projects, that are fitted to different

ages and skills.

Every 3-5 weeks each student starts a new project, and take home their finished creations.

About me

I am Ela, a visual artist, craft maker and a tutor.

Before moving to Sant Cugat, I was teaching in an educational center that follows the STEAM methodology* : A project-based learning approach that actively engages students in solving real-world problems through creative thinking and processes.

Students are encouraged to explore connections between different subject areas, by expanding their knowledge and skills set. The main goal is to develop their passion, curiosity, independency and their sense of competence.
