The Young Makers

 English speaking, afterschool Woodworking classes
Ages 8 & up

In our Project-Based Learning (PBL) afterschool program, kids strengthen their English while exploring hands-on woodworking projects.

Using real tools and creative technologies, students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and fine motor abilities.

Each child works at their own pace on projects tailored to their age and skill level. Every 3-5 weeks, students start a new project and proudly take home their finished creations.

About me

I am Ela, a visual artist, craft maker and a tutor.

Before moving to Sant Cugat, I was teaching in an educational center that follows the STEAM methodology* : A project-based learning approach that actively engages students in solving real-world problems through creative thinking and processes.

Students are encouraged to explore connections between different subject areas, by expanding their knowledge and skills set. The main goal is to develop their passion, curiosity, independency and their sense of competence.
